"Tourism becomes a quest for new experiences and knowledge. Visitors meet others as they go about their daily lives, through their traditions, festivals, celebrations and realisations."
Claude Moulin, University of Ottawa

"So the workshop (in an ECONOMUSEUM®) is not only a place where objects are made. It also serves as a showcase where various examples of traditional and contemporary work are exhibited."

Jocelyne Mathieu, Laval University, Quebec

"Part of the mission of the ECONOMUSEUM® network is to make the public aware of the necessity of preserving traditional know-how that bears witness to the past and forges history."

Odette Drapeau, Montreal
