Meet Robert Bourgeois, the owner of Verger Belliveau Orchard. The Orchard, founded in 1932, was acquired by Robert's father, Louis Bourgeois in 1967 and has been in the family ever since. Robert was raised on the farm and today lives here with his wife and three children.

Robert studied Plant Science at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro, graduating in 1981. Robert worked in the family business, continuing with courses such as the Atlantic Agriculture Leadership Program and the Dale Carnegie Program. He actively participates in regional, provincial and national agricultural committees.

Robert now owns and manages the farm continuing the family tradition. An innovator who is not afraid to take risks, Robert is a progressive entrepreneur who is continually striving to provide quality fruit and beverages to consumers in Atlantic Canada.
